JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 26 Brings New Application Enhancements
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 26 is out! And once again, Oracle demonstrates that innovation continues to drive its ERP platform. This release enables organizations to accelerate their digital transformation with innovations that automate processes, increase ease of use and strengthen data reliability.
In this article, we take you through the key application enhancements in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Financials and Localizations.
Supply Chain Management
Foreign currency tolerance check in voucher match
In an international environment, exchange rate differences are almost inevitable. Release 26 therefore adds a new check for tolerances based on foreign currency. The voucher match functionality in JD Edwards has been expanded to include a check for tolerances based on foreign currency. This improves the accuracy of the process and eliminates differences due to exchange rate fluctuations. The result? A more reliable voucher match, fewer manual corrections and a more accurate process that accounts for fluctuations in the foreign exchange market.
Reprint invoices for orders that are 'on hold'
You probably know the situation: a sales order is on hold, but the invoice needs to be printed again. Now you can. The Print Invoice program now supports reprinting of invoices for partially delivered sales orders that are on hold. This eliminates time-consuming workarounds and improves cash flow by smoothing the accounts receivable process.

Improved delegation process for purchase order approval
The delegation process within the purchase order approval workflow has been further improved. Users with approval rights can temporarily delegate their responsibilities to a colleague, for example during absence. This keeps approval processes running smoothly and prevents bottlenecks.
Procurement
PO Approval app as a web-based Progressive Web Application
The PO Approval mobile app has been completely redesigned and is now available as a web-based Progressive Web Application (PWA) developed with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud. Users can log in directly via smartphone, tablet or desktop to review, approve or reject purchase orders. This increases flexibility and speeds up the procurement process.
Financials
New reporting for invoices and receipts
A new reporting capability has been added in Accounts Receivable that allows you to generate customer data, invoices and related payments in one view. This simplifies the audit process and provides clear insight into payments, discounts, chargebacks and write-offs.
Legislative, regulatory & localizations
Brazil: tax codes and NF e-generation for CBS, IBS and IS taxes
For organizations in Brazil, JD Edwards release 26 now supports the new tax structure. The release includes features for tributary situation codes, the purchase return process and the generation of electronic invoices(Nota Fiscal Eletrônica - NF-e) in XML format for CBS, IBS and IS taxes.
