Job Opening: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Help build modern cloud platforms within a multi-cloud environment
At Forza Consulting, we are a team of 30 colleagues who believe that technology should not be a limitation, but rather the powerful heart of an organization. Since 2007, we have been supporting organizations that deal with complex processes and are increasingly finding that their current IT and ERP landscapes are reaching their limits.
At Forza, it’s about more than just technology. We believe that digital transformation starts with people—colleagues who support one another, share knowledge, and move forward together. We do this as a team of experts who are not only well-versed in ERP technology and business-critical processes, but also in collaboration and partnership.
With a team of specialized consultants, we help clients design, implement, and manage future-proof cloud solutions. To expand our Cloud Team, we are looking for a Cloud Consultant who can effectively combine technical expertise with client advisory skills.
What are you going to do?
As a Cloud Consultant, you will work on a wide range of cloud-related issues for clients across various industries. You will be involved in both technical implementations and strategic improvement initiatives, and will serve as a sounding board for clients.
At Forza, you don’t work exclusively on a single cloud platform. It is precisely the combination of Azure, AWS, and OCI that allows you to develop your skills broadly and gain experience in a true multi-cloud environment.
You will work in a hybrid role, with approximately 60% of your work being technical in nature and 40% consisting of consulting and client advisory services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, deploying, and configuring cloud environments on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Participate in technical projects and client environments
- Contributing ideas on cloud architecture, management, and optimization
- Identifying and developing improvement proposals
- Performing configurations, implementations, and optimizations
- Contributing ideas on capacity management from a cost and efficiency perspective
- Collaborating at the intersection of application management and system and network management
- Supporting support activities
- Occasional maintenance outside regular office hours
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore new technologies, earn certifications, and further your career development toward specialized or more architecture-focused roles.
What do you bring to the table?
You’re a consultant who gets a kick out of technology and helping clients. You’re able to translate technical challenges into practical solutions, and you enjoy continuously developing your skills.
In addition, you have:
- HBO-level academic and intellectual ability
- You have 2–10 years of relevant work experience in cloud environments
- Experience with at least one of the following platforms: OCI, AWS, Microsoft Azure
- Relevant cloud certifications in OCI, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
- An interest in security, connectivity, and infrastructure
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus
Who are you?
You recognize yourself in the following traits:
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Curious and eager to learn
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented
- Independent yet a team player
- Proactive and responsible
- Able to explain technical concepts to customers in a way they can understand
What can you expect from us?
You’ll be joining an organization where knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship, and personal development are key priorities. Together with four experienced cloud specialists, you’ll work on challenging projects in an informal yet professional work environment.
We offer:
- A salary between €3,700 and €6,200 gross per month
- A work schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week
- 27 days of vacation, with the option to purchase 5 additional days
- 8% vacation pay
- An excellent pension plan with Nationale Nederlanden, featuring an 8% employer contribution; employee contributions are voluntary
- Choose between a company car, a public transportation chip card for unlimited travel (which can also be used for personal travel), or a mileage allowance of €0.46 per kilometer
- Budget for setting up your own home office
- A work-from-home allowance
- A laptop and a phone
- Hybrid work environment where we ask that you be in the office in Soest or at the client’s location two days a week
- Plenty of opportunities for training, certifications, and personal development
- Annual team activities such as a BBQ, Christmas dinner, and family day
